And what a trip it was!
We had quite a bit of fun touring the West Country (Devon, Cornwall) and seeing the sights. Cheryl had to do most of the touring during the day, as work kept me busy, but she took to the driving (on the wrong side of the road) quite handily, and was soon navigating her way 'round those 'roundabouts like a native.
Which is something I never quite got. Still gives me the shivers thinking about them.
Most of my days were spent in Plymouth at the job, leading the customer through the maze of software installations and check-outs. Cheryl, meanwhile, was able to drive around downtown looking for parking (which there wasn't); drive out to Penzance looking for pirates (didn't see any); and drive around looking at various castles and touristy spots, up and down along the moors, checking out the countryside.
Now where did I put those pictures???
