Our latest driving student drove to the beach today, just her and her Dad. The weather was not warm enough to warrant swimming, but good enough to warrant some time behind the wheel. Don't worry, she didn't get too tuckered out. Just an hour and a half out, and an hour and a half back. Then we stopped to pick up dinner for the family (and ice cream for ourselves, to celebrate!).
Mission accomplished. For now. So far, she's driven East and West. Next time, either North or South. For a slightly longer trip. Say four or five hours. Hey, that's about how long it takes to drive to Bloomington...
